We fell in love with the 1930s barn, sitting on 9 acres, that had been lovingly restored by its previous owner. The rawness of the space was both daunting and inviting. Keeping the rustic charm, we set out to update the barn while staying true to its original character. New windows were installed and framed using reclaimed pieces of barn wood. The bare surrounding area between the barn and pond became an opportunity to incorporate and experiment with different plantings and gathering spaces. As the barn and nearby landscape began to take shape, we watched it transform into a magical space to gather, connect and be inspired. We continue to build on the magic and excited for the journey ahead.
