We have created a space that both inspires and restores. Get in touch to learn more about what is happening at the barn.

Ikebana in the garden

Join us in the garden as we learn the foundations of Ikebana—traditional Japanese art of flower arrangement, that focuses on minimalism, asymmetry, natural shapes and textures. This is a time to slow down, see deeply, get tactile and unleash your inner creativity. We’ll learn one Ikebana style from our incredible teacher, Meei-Huey Lin, who has been teaching for 30 years and has had her work exhibited at the Philadelphia Flower Show. Following the teaching, we’ll get designing and then finish with lively conversations as we sip tea and snack on scones.

Included in the class fee: one 2.5” kenzan frog and fresh materials to work with.

We encourage you to bring a special vessel, but will have options on hand for purchase.
